  • Expansion of Services: In November 2024, Air Canada announced new seasonal services and increased capacity to popular destinations across Europe, the United States, and Asia for Summer 2025. This includes new routes from Montreal to Naples and Porto and the resumption of flights from Toronto to Prague and Port of Spain.
  • Increased Flights to China: In October 2024, Air Canada planned to increase direct flights between China and Canada starting December 2024, following the removal of a 2022 limit on services operated by Chinese carriers to Canada. The airline aimed to expand its current four weekly flights from Vancouver to Shanghai to seven weekly flights and resume daily flights from Vancouver to Beijing from January 15, 2025.
  • Resumption of Flights to Israel: In February 2025, Air Canada announced the resumption of flights between Canada and Israel starting June 8, 2025, following cancellations due to security concerns in the Middle East. The airline also planned to add a weekly non-stop return flight from Montreal beginning in August 2025.
