Job Description
The Busser/Barback position at Yard House is a vital role supporting the front-of-house team, particularly servers and bartenders. Employees in this role play a key part in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the dining room, bar area, lobby, and service zones. Responsibilities include assisting bartenders by clearing the bar top, sanitizing barware, restocking glassware and plateware, and changing kegs to ensure fresh beer is always available on tap. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Must be able to lift moderate weights
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or bar setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Basic knowledge of bar and restaurant operations
- Ability to follow directions and maintain cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to handle cleaning and restocking duties
Job Duties
- Ensure dining room, bar, lobby, and service areas are clean and sanitized
- Assist bartenders with clearing bar tops and cleaning barware
- Restock glassware and plateware regularly
- Change out kegs to maintain fresh beer on tap
- Maintain visually appealing service and dining areas
- Support servers and bartenders to facilitate smooth service flow
- Adhere to company cleanliness and safety standards
