Job Description

Red Lobster is a longstanding and beloved seafood restaurant chain with a rich history dating back over fifty years. What began as a family-owned restaurant with a passion for offering guests a unique connection to seafood and the coast has grown into a family of more than 500 restaurants. This company takes pride in being more than just a place to eat or work; it is an integral part of the communities it serves, where new friends turn into familiar faces. Each seat in their restaurants serves as an extension of the founding passion for quality seafood, memorable dining experiences, and community involvement. The company emphasizes family, hospitality, and shared moments around the table, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers and employees alike.

The position of Bartender at Red Lobster offers a significant opportunity for those looking to join a reputable and growing restaurant chain. This role is central to creating enjoyable guest experiences by preparing and serving a variety of drinks while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Employees enjoy competitive salaries with weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits such as affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting at less than $10 per week. Additional perks include life insurance, short-term disability coverage, voluntary benefits, a 401(k) savings plan with company contributions after one year of service, anniversary pay, discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest.

As part of the team, bartenders at Red Lobster welcome customers with a smile, prepare the bar before opening including setting up pour stations and glassware, replenish drinks and garnishes, and suggest food and beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience. They ensure that all drinks are made to standard recipes using the appropriate glassware and garnishes, accurately take food and drink orders using the POS system, monitor customer satisfaction, offer refills, clear items promptly, and handle payments efficiently. Strict adherence to food safety regulations is required to maintain high standards. This role demands attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, physical stamina to stand for long shifts, and the ability to work collaboratively.

Red Lobster is committed to equal employment opportunities and creating an inclusive workplace where diversity is respected and valued. Physical requirements include bending, reaching, stooping, and safely lifting up to 30 pounds. The company provides reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities to perform essential job functions. If you are passionate about providing outstanding customer service, skilled in mixology, and ready to join a welcoming and dynamic team, this position offers a path for career growth and advancement within a brand focused on quality, community, and employee development.
