Cogent Infotech is currently offering a 6-month contract position based in Clark, NJ, for the role of Chemist I. This role is designed for a driven professional with hands-on experience in cosmetic characterization or a related field such as personal care, food science, or chemical product evaluation. The Chemist I will play an integral part in performing physicochemical measurements and stability studies on various cosmetic formats, ensuring that quality and regulatory standards are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate is meticulous, with a strong foundation in laboratory practices, a passion for data accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
