Position: Seafood Processor / Fish Cutter
About: Samuels and Son Seafood, a leading purveyor of fresh and frozen seafood located in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Seafood Processor/Fish Cutter to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to learn and master the skill of cutting and preparing fresh fish to meet customer specifications in a fast-paced and growth-focused environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; willingness to learn and adapt to cutting, cleaning, boning, slicing, scaling, and filleting various types of fresh fish; ability to work in a refrigerated environment and lift up to 50 lbs; capacity to work independently and as part of a team, meet tight deadlines, and adhere to safe work and sanitation standards; proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English; willingness to undergo training at the Philadelphia, PA plant for several weeks; prior experience in the back of the house or as a Food Prep in a restaurant is a plus
