Job Description

McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality, commonly known as MML Hospitality, is a distinctive hospitality company dedicated to crafting exceptional and memorable experiences through a seamless blend of food, service, and design. Founded under the visionary leadership of Liz Lambert, Larry McGuire, and Tom Moorman, MML has established itself as a refined purveyor of hospitality, focusing on storytelling, attention to detail, and delivering unparalleled dining and retail experiences across its portfolio. The company is known for its commitment to owning and operating its properties, ensuring that every project aligns with its core vision and values. MML currently manages and owns a variety of celebrated hotels, including the renowned Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans. Additionally, the company is actively expanding with new developments underway in states such as Texas, Colorado, and California. MML also offers food and beverage consultation services to prestigious clients like the Austin Proper Hotel, managing multiple restaurants, in-room dining services, and banquet operations on the property. Within this vibrant and growing hospitality environment, Clark's Houston—a notable establishment under the MML umbrella—is seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join their team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the culinary leadership and ensuring the flawless execution of the restaurant's menu. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $60,000, along with bonus potential, reflecting the value MML places on culinary excellence and team contribution. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to help craft and bring to life the restaurant's culinary vision, fostering an environment where exceptional food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction remain paramount. This role requires hands-on involvement during service hours, overseeing daily kitchen operations, mentoring and training kitchen staff, and driving a culture of professionalism and continuous learning within the kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, exemplary leadership talents, and the ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. Joining MML Hospitality means becoming part of a company that values innovation, quality, and community. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package of rewards and opportunities, including beverage education reimbursement, paid time off, property discounts across hotels, restaurants, and retail locations, as well as extensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and even pet insurance. There are retirement plan options, parental leave, opportunities for advancement and promotion, and relocation assistance for qualifying candidates. MML is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, ensuring all employees and applicants receive equal opportunities. The company values the unique contributions of each team member and supports their professional growth and success within the hospitality industry. If you are driven, passionate about culinary arts, and eager to be part of a dynamic and respected hospitality brand, the Sous Chef role at Clark's Houston offers an exciting and rewarding career path.
