Job Description
Steak House Restaurant - BMCo is looking to hire a Full-Time Experienced Sous Chef. This role involves providing hands-on support to the Executive Chef in the day-to-day operations, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, maintaining recipes and presentations, and training team members for production assistance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Passion for building a strong team
- High-volume restaurant and catering experience
- Organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
- Strong knife skills
- Strong communication skills
- Certification by NYC DOH
- Influential philosophy of leadership and management based on mutual respect and strong business acumen
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure and understand the principles of People, Product, and Process
- Ownership of kitchen cleanliness and portion control
- Flexible schedule including nights and weekends availability
