Job Description

Avolta, including Dufry, HMSHost Corporation, Hudson, and affiliates, is looking for a Sous Chef to assist in overseeing a kitchen with complex operations and managing food production processes at BWI Airport. This position reports to the Restaurant Chef and is responsible for food preparation, staff supervision, and ensuring all kitchen activities meet safety and quality standards set by the company.

Job Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in kitchen operations and staff supervision
  • certification in Serve Safe Management course
  • strong team management, delegation, and coaching skills
  • ability to effectively communicate and resolve issues
  • proficiency in organization and time management
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents.
