Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and ordering systems
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a sous chef or similar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
  • Passion for the culinary arts and team development
  • Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff

Job Duties

  • Be a leader in the restaurant and a resource for answers
  • Supervise staff to complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
  • Assist as necessary
  • Work any station on the line, during any service and set an example for others to follow
  • Place daily orders according to Order Sheet or direction from Chef
  • Organize and store deliveries making sure invoices are correct, prices are as expected, and quantities are what was ordered
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Support others around you to provide the best guest experience
  • Offer suggestions for improvement to management
  • Train new staff as requested
  • Ask for help when needed
