Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Minimum 2 years culinary work experience in food service environments such as restaurants, catering, or institutional services
- Culinary certification preferred
- Ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Effective team leadership and training capabilities
- Competence in budget and inventory management
- Willingness to engage actively with clients and staff on the floor during service
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, and mall food courts
- Culinary certification highly preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to plan and execute diverse menus
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
- Experience with vendor relations and procurement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Lead and manage retail and catering chefs, purchasing, and catering managers
- Oversee menu planning, production, inventory, HACCP compliance, and kitchen cleanliness
- Standardize and implement Sodexo culinary systems and quality benchmarks
- Conduct training programs, guide chefs toward ACF certification, and manage annual evaluations
- Ensure food safety compliance, conduct audits, and maintain required documentation
- Work with vendors on procurement and oversee purchasing financial audits
- Develop innovative menus for retail, catering, and banquet services
- Strengthen client relationships and enhance the dining experience
