Job Requirements

  • Must be fully certified or in the process of certification in all team member front of house and back of house positions
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to perform repetitive forward bend of head/neck
  • Capacity for some bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, and reaching
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Capability to work in a hot kitchen environment
  • Sight, speech and hearing necessary to communicate effectively
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Strong culinary experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching, directing, and motivating a team
  • Culinary interest with commitment to continued culinary development
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Docs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive and outgoing personality
  • Customer service focused and solution oriented
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced and high stress work environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
  • Ongoing current Food Safety Manager certification

Job Duties

  • Leading team members by exemplifying exceptional guest service and fostering an enthusiastic and uplifting environment
  • Ensuring team members adhere to established policies and procedures
  • Managing purchase tracker daily and ensuring operating costs are in line with budget
  • Following up on and resolving guest complaints in person or by phone
  • Supervising the opening and/or closing of the restaurant depending on schedule
  • Ordering restaurant items including produce, drinks, supplies, and uniforms
  • Submitting and approving invoices and expense reports
  • Conducting daily line-ups to communicate changes and new processes
  • Coaching, mentoring, and managing team member relations
  • Completing daily time edits and payroll documents
  • Ensuring all safety and injury protocols are followed
  • Ensuring point of sale system functions are conducted according to policy
  • Conducting daily line checks, monthly walkthroughs, and hazard checklists
  • Performing other related duties as assigned or requested
