Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to work in an environment with constantly elevated temperatures
- Must be able to work and move quickly in a tight-space environment in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must be available to work nights and Sundays
- ServSafe certification preferred
- ABC service certification preferred
- CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred
- All employees must wear the proper uniform and maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent optional
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a large commercial kitchen operation preferred
- Knowledge of Teamwork and Toast POS system
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language to interact with guests, the public, and coworkers
- Proficient verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and professionally deal with stressful situations
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with kitchen and front of the house employees
- Extensive knowledge of proper food handling requirements
- Extensive knowledge of food recipes
- Strong knowledge of safe usage of kitchen utensils and equipment
Job Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces and various toppings
- Monitor the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times
- Prepare high-quality pizzas according to the company recipe book
- Manage all food order slips and ensure that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner
- Complete any and all assigned cleaning duties, including stocking and organization
- Properly set up and break down stations before and after operating hours
- Attend all departmental and service training seminars as requested or assigned
