Job Description

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is a reputable staffing and management company specializing in providing dedicated personnel to healthcare facilities. CMS prides itself on delivering qualified, dependable staff to long-term care and medical centers, ensuring quality service and maintaining high standards of operation. The company is currently recruiting Housekeeping Staff to join the Environmental Services Department at a well-established long-term care nursing facility located in Norristown, Pennsylvania. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in joining a professional healthcare environment, either on a full-time or part-time basis, with competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. CMS believes in supporting its employees from day one by offering comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure success and comfort in their roles.

The role of a Housekeeping Staff member is vital to the smooth operation of healthcare facilities. Cleanliness and sanitation are paramount in providing a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors alike. Working within the Environmental Services Department, the Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility. This includes cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and handling the disposal of trash and biohazardous materials following strict safety and health protocols. Employees work on day and evening shifts with alternating weekends and holidays, thereby offering a flexible schedule to accommodate different lifestyle needs.

Additionally, responsibilities may include laundry duties—processing linens and residents' clothing while operating commercial washers and dryers efficiently and safely. Housekeeping personnel also take care of floor maintenance tasks, utilizing equipment such as extractors, high-speed buffers, auto-scrapers, and steam machines to ensure floors are clean, polished, and well-maintained. This diverse scope of duties highlights the comprehensive nature of the position, requiring keen attention to detail, a proactive approach, and adherence to facility policies.

CMS emphasizes career growth by providing paid training and orientation programs, uniform shirts, direct deposit for payroll convenience, and the potential for career advancement within the company. Alongside these tangible benefits, employees receive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, and access to wellness programs such as Patriot Preventive Care. These offerings reflect CMS’s commitment to fostering a supportive work environment where employees can thrive and maintain work-life balance while serving an essential healthcare role.
