Job Description

Northland Properties is a renowned Canadian-owned hospitality and entertainment company with over 50 years of experience in the industry. It is recognized as one of the most trusted names in hotels, restaurants, resorts, sports, construction, and asset management across Canada, the United States, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. As Canada's fastest-growing hospitality group, Northland Properties prides itself on delivering exceptional experiences that bring people together to celebrate unforgettable moments. The company values its people as the core of its business success and fosters a culture centered on teamwork, growth, and hospitality excellence. Northland Properties is committed to providing opportunities that support career development and personal growth within their diverse and ever-expanding operations. With a broad portfolio of well-known brands, they emphasize quality, innovation, and service in all aspects of their business.

The Server role within Northland Properties’ restaurant division is a vital position responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences that ensure every guest leaves happier than when they arrived. Servers act as the frontline ambassadors of the brand, connecting with guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner to anticipate and fulfill their needs. This position requires someone who is outgoing, team-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as taking orders, answering questions about the menu, running food, and resolving guest concerns amicably. The servers work closely with both the culinary and front-of-house teams to maintain a seamless service operation. Their role not only encompasses delivering flawless table service but also maintaining a clean and organized environment that reflects the high standards of the restaurant.

Northland Properties restaurants feature menus curated by an Executive Chef, showcasing globally inspired flavors made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The team’s dedication to culinary arts and hospitality ensures that every dish and service moment reflects a commitment to excellence. As part of the restaurant team, servers have unique opportunities for personal development including improving communication skills, time management, and leadership capabilities. They also benefit from growing their professional network and advancing their careers within a company that is expanding rapidly across Canada and the USA. The role offers a dynamic work environment for those enthusiastic about food, drink, and guest interaction, and it emphasizes collaboration and supportive teamwork. Weekend availability and prior experience in full-service restaurants are considered assets, though the company values a positive attitude and eagerness to learn above all. Northland Properties is proud to foster an inclusive workplace and offers opportunities that extend beyond day-to-day service roles, including participating in new restaurant openings and community engagement.
