Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants fast food vending catering services institutional services or mall food courts
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large team
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Proficiency with automated food inventory and management systems

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience

  • Innovative catering background
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience managing food and labor costs
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • HACCP training skills

Job Duties

  • Manage purchasing menu compliance inventory food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • Ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Operate and oversee automated food inventory ordering production and management systems
  • Develop and implement new culinary concepts and menu design
  • Drive innovation and excellence in university dining programs
  • Promote customer loyalty and brand image by diagnosing customer needs and recommending appropriate products or services
  • Lead a highly motivated culinary team delivering exceptional hospitality and food-focused service
