The Event Bartender role at Patrick Properties is key to the success of the many upscale events held across its renowned venues. This position is tailored for an individual passionate about contributing to a positive, fun, and engaging work environment while ensuring the highest standards of service are met. The ideal candidate possesses prior bartending experience and a solid knowledge of cocktails, coupled with the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Reporting to the Beverage Manager and Event Managers, the Event Bartender is responsible for maintaining proper bar setup and breakdown, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and ensuring safe and responsible alcohol service. The role requires adherence to company appearance and uniform standards and demands keen attention to detail in checking guests' identification and monitoring alcohol consumption. With the company’s emphasis on teamwork, professionalism, and operational excellence, the Event Bartender must also display a mature demeanor and physical readiness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Job Requirements
- Must be ServSafe Alcohol certified or able to obtain certification within first 30 days of employment
- Prior bartending experience and cocktail knowledge required
- Required to have wine tool for every shift
- Timeliness and flexible schedule including nights, weekends and occasional holidays
- Ability to follow Patrick Properties standards, policies and procedures
- Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems while working as a team
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time
- Exert physical effort in transporting and placement of alcohol, coolers, glass racks, etc.
- Must possess mature, professional demeanor to interact with vendors and team
- Ability to work without direct supervision and follow through to completion of assigned tasks
Job Qualifications
- ServSafe Alcohol certified or able to obtain certification within first 30 days of employment
- Prior bartending experience
- Cocktail knowledge

- Ability to work without direct supervision and follow through assigned tasks
- Flexible schedule including availability nights, weekends and occasional holidays
Job Duties
- Proper uniform and appearance standards
- Properly set up and breakdown bars with product, equipment, glassware, etc.
- Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
- Responsible for safely serving beverages and monitoring all alcohol consumption, discontinuing service to any guest who may be intoxicated with assistance
- Responsible for checking guests' I.D.s to ensure legal drinking age
- Knowledge of PPHG beverage menus
- Knowledge and understanding of PPHG venues
- Accurately sign in and out with Banquet Captain and/or Manager
