Job Requirements

Must be able to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, stir, chop, slice, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Job Qualifications

2 or more years of experience as a cook or similar role in a kitchen environment
Experience in commercial cooking or high-volume cooking preferred
Safe Food Handling Certificate preferred
ServSafe Manager Certificate required
Ability to speak, read, and write in English

Job Duties

Prepares, cooks and serves food in accordance with standards of quality, quantity and food safety guidelines
Operates work fryer, oven, slicer, can opener, and other food processing equipment as needed
Observes proper food preparation and handling techniques
Ensures food is stored properly and safely
Maintains storage areas in a neat and organized manner
Reports and coordinates necessary equipment repair and maintenance
