Job Requirements
- Must have 2-4 years of hospitality sales experience
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation for making sales calls
- Ability to dedicate minimum 90% work time on direct sales efforts
- Ability to control expenses while traveling for business
- Ability to represent oneself and the company with highest integrity and professionalism
- Neat, clean, and business-like appearance
- Dexterity and mobility to meet clients on and off premises, tour property, and attend functions
- Ability to climb stairs, use door keys, and operate basic office equipment
- Vision to read fine print and computer screens and observe rooms in low light
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities in a timely manner
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Willingness to work full-time on-site

Job Qualifications
- Two to four years of hospitality sales experience
- Experience with business travel, corporate accounts, and transient market preferred
- Additional group sales experience considered
- Knowledge of general sales techniques and yield management
- Highly developed customer service skills
- Effective business writing skills
- Ability to hear, speak, read, and write English fluently
- Ability to multitask and prioritize activities
- Strong and effective sales skills

Job Duties
- Target results-oriented high revenue potential sales calls to ensure a successful direct sales program
- Maximize current hotel key accounts by identifying and capturing those that offer revenue growth
- Achieve allocated productivity and activity goals as established by management
- Capture competitors' accounts through networking, research, and reader board surveys
- Follow up on all leads within 10-12 hours of receipt to create new business and refer leads to other Rebel hotels when appropriate
- Plan and implement an ongoing Targeted Account Development hit list to generate new revenue and acquire valuable hotel contacts and contracts
- Utilize yield management techniques to negotiate room rates and function space commitments profitably in order to enhance the hotel's financial performance
- Maintain well-documented, accurate, organized, and up-to-date file management systems
- Develop strong customer relationships through frequent communication and professional, courteous, and ethical interactions
- Develop customer profiles and maintain an effective trace system including trace dates and references
- Promptly follow up on all customer needs and inquiries efficiently and expediently
