Residential Living

CJE SeniorLife provides various residential living options, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The Weinberg Community for Senior Living in Deerfield, Illinois, offers a warm and supportive environment with engaging life enrichment opportunities.

Residents enjoy landscaped gardens, walking paths, ponds, and a playground for grandchildren. The community provides assistance with daily tasks such as medication reminders, bathing, and housekeeping, along with delicious kosher meals served in elegant dining settings.

Supportive Services

CJE SeniorLife offers a range of supportive services to help older adults maintain independence and stay connected:

• Adult Day Services: Available in Evanston and Deerfield, these provide supervised, structured socialization and stimulating programs for seniors, offering caregivers valuable respite.
• Benefits Services: Experienced specialists assist seniors and families in exploring a broad range of resources, government benefits, and support services in Illinois. Services include help with Medicare, Medicaid, prescription drug coverage, and Social Security.
• Counseling Services: Staffed by Licensed Clinical Social Workers, these offer support for seniors, caregivers, and families including individual, group, and caregiver counseling via telehealth, in-office, and some home visits.
• Food Services: Provides convenient, nutritious, and tasty options for daily meals or special occasion catering, including frozen kosher meals and home-delivered meals.
• Holocaust Community Services: Serving over 1,900 survivors with monthly financial assistance, additional programming, referrals, and socialization opportunities.
• Legal Services: Assistance with civil legal matters for those aged 60 and older living in Illinois, available in-person, by phone, or virtually.
