Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum legal age requirement for serving alcohol
- Ability to maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Availability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and understand handwritten and printed orders
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for entire shifts
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and wipe surfaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or mixology experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and preparation techniques
- Cash handling experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Commitment to responsible alcohol service
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Consistently provide outstanding Guest service by delivering expertly crafted drinks, delicious food, and engaging entertainment
- Keep the immediate supervisor informed of any issues or significant unusual occurrences and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternative solutions
- Deliver prompt and efficient beverage service while managing wait times and communicating necessary information to Guests, Team Members, and Managers
- Greet Guests warmly and manage various job responsibilities
- Assist Guests with drink selections, answer questions, and provide recommendations
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Verify identification of Guests to ensure legal alcohol consumption age
- Monitor Guest alcohol consumption responsibly and intervene as necessary following company policies and legal regulations
- Bid farewell to departing Guests ensuring satisfaction and inviting them to return
- Inform the Manager of any dissatisfied Guests or complaints
- Adhere strictly to all company policies regarding responsible alcohol service
- Assist in regular stocking and maintenance of bar inventory
- Clean and sanitize glassware, bar tools, and work surfaces regularly
- Collaborate effectively with Team Members to ensure seamless service
- Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with Team Members
- Meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages
