Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math proficiency
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Commitment to maintaining workplace cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Possession of or ability to obtain Food Handling Certification
- Ability to adhere to company dress code and safety policies
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Experience in customer service is beneficial
- Previous exposure to cash handling is advantageous
- Prior experience as a barista is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and ability to count accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient English reading and communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Possession of Food Handling Certification or willingness to acquire it
- Willingness to follow specified attire guidelines
- Capability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Job Duties
- Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately using a register or POS system
- Welcome and assist clients with a friendly attitude, anticipating their needs
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks following brand guidelines
- Prepare and serve food items in compliance with location standards
- Maintain cash drawer and complete cashier documentation including bank deposits
- Follow Aramark’s policies and procedures for cash handling
- Set up and dismantle coffee bar, stations, or store while emphasizing cleanliness and order
- Sanitize equipment regularly to ensure a clean and hygienic work area
- Stock beverage coolers, snacks, service items, and condiments
- Adhere to food and drink preparation guidelines to maintain safe consumption standards
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by managers
