This position is for a Server role within Aramark, a job that is essential to creating memorable dining experiences for guests. As a Server, you will master the art of exceptional customer service and become adept at managing the flow of food and beverage delivery with professionalism and care. The hourly wage for the Server position is $31.20, representing Aramark’s good faith effort to provide fair compensation. This role is typically part-time or full-time depending on location and operational needs, and requires flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a server or in food service preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to perform lifting bending pushing pulling and/or extended walking and standing
  • must be able to obtain food safety certification
  • willingness to wear uniform and/or personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a server or in food service role preferred
  • demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
  • must be able to obtain a food safety certification
  • must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • serve food and beverage to guests according to guests orders and/or banquet menu
  • maintain knowledge of menu items and all other offerings
  • maintain appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during event
  • replenish food and beverage product
  • adhere to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking guests' identification
  • provide excellent customer service anticipating guests' needs
  • break down and clean/sanitize food service areas workstations and equipment
