This role is for a travel nurse Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) to work on a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The assignment involves working 40 hours per week, specifically in day shifts consisting of three 10-hour rotations from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM. The role is ideal for a registered nurse who has current state licensure, up-to-date certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and at least one year of recent clinical experience in a hospital or critical care setting.

In this assignment, the RN will be responsible for providing specialized cardiac care to patients in an acute care environment. The role emphasizes close collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including cardiologists, other nurses, and allied health professionals, to monitor and manage patients with various cardiac diseases and complications. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medication, managing cardiac monitoring devices, and responding to emergent situations. Given the critical nature of the coronary care unit, the RN will need to demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

The compensation for this travel nursing position is competitive, with an estimated pay package of up to $2388.87 per week. Job Requirements

  • Valid RN licensure
  • Minimum one year of full-time nursing experience
  • Recent clinical experience within the last two years
  • Current BLS certification
