Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of progressive culinary experience
  • Two years as a Sous Chef
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of culinary budget management
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of progressive culinary experience
  • At least two years of experience in a Sous Chef role
  • Proven ability to lead a cohesive kitchen team
  • Strong budget management skills
  • Effective labor scheduling and overtime control
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Commitment to maintaining high culinary standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of kitchen areas including production and prep
  • Manage private parties and special events culinary execution
  • Supervise stewarding, purchasing, and receiving processes
  • Ensure culinary staff create menu items to highest standards
  • Run the kitchen professionally in absence of the Executive Chef
  • Manage culinary budget and monitor labor costs
  • Schedule staff and control overtime for maximum productivity and guest satisfaction
