Job Requirements

high school diploma or GED
four years of food industry experience
21 years of age or older
valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
availability for emergency call assistance nights, weekends, and holidays
no immigration sponsorship available
ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
ability to drive or fly to client locations with proper documentation
willingness to travel including overnight stays 1-2 times per month
responsible for weekend coverage once every 12 weeks

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or GED
four years of food industry experience
valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record
availability to provide emergency call assistance nights, weekends, and holidays
ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
ability to drive or fly to client locations with proper identification
bachelor's degree preferred
mechanical experience with plumbing and electrical skills
food safety knowledge or CP-FS certification
military experience preferred
prior business to business sales experience preferred

Job Duties

maintain equipment and collateral to ensure proper function and appearance
complete required Ecolab QSR visit reports based on customer's mandated visit frequency
install equipment including warewash machines, water filtration systems, sinks for existing customers and new restaurant setups
prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term work plans for the territory and customers
facilitate sales of Ecolab products through suggestions for improvements and new innovations
maintain knowledge of products and their applications for specific customers
demonstrate and train customers on use of Ecolab products and services
maintain positive customer relationships by evaluating needs and identifying sales opportunities
engage appropriate resources to resolve customer problems
manage inventory by merchandising and identifying causes for slow sales
meet with store management to provide feedback and recommendations after store surveys
complete paperwork and update customer contact records and territory management system
utilize electronic and paper reports to communicate with customers, managers, and home office
maintain adequate car stock inventory
obtain knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles and apply them in customer food handling and cleaning procedures
complete ICFSM exam training and become certified in Food Safety
manage emergency calls including nights, weekends, and holidays
manage time out of field with minimal impact to district objectives
assist in covering open territories as needed
perform other tasks and assignments as directed by management
