The company’s mission is to create memorable dining experiences for customers by delivering not only delicious meals but also entertainment that elevates the concept of dining out.

This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are passionate about culinary arts and customer engagement, as it combines food preparation with interactive guest entertainment. The position involves cooking and preparing meals on hibachi tables located in front of guests, creating a captivating show that enhances the overall dining experience.

The chef role at Benihana is multifaceted, requiring a blend of culinary skills, showmanship, and customer service. The chef is responsible for welcoming guests promptly, cooking food to meet portion control and quality standards, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. This role offers employees a paid 5-week training program designed to impart both technical culinary skills and the unique presentation style that defines the Benihana experience.

Employees benefit from a range of exclusive perks, including medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time restaurant employees, voluntary insurance options, and a 401(k) plan available to all employees. Additional benefits include employee dining discounts or complimentary onsite meals, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and commuter and dependent care benefits. The work environment at Benihana is caring and supportive, valuing each team member and fostering continuous growth and development.
