Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of sushi chef experience required
- Ability to maintain professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and busy times
- Ability to entertain and perform in front of guests is strongly desired
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Ability to prepare food with knowledge of proper techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of food storage and handling techniques is highly desirable
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality industry required
- Holds state and/or local food handlers card where applicable
- Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time
- Must be 18 years or older or in accordance with state law
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Culinary schooling preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to work different shifts including holidays, nights and weekends
- Must be able to work overtime as required

Job Duties
- Prepare side and sushi items in accordance with portioning, recipe and service guidelines
- Work in front of guests while preparing food at the sushi bar
- Monitor and ensure proper portioning of foods prepared at the sushi bar
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the sushi bar and equipment
- Entertain and perform in front of guests to enhance the dining experience
- Collaborate with team members to support overall guest dining satisfaction
- Adhere to food safety and handling standards
