Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of management experience
- At least 2 years of functional experience in food or culinary services
- Ability to prepare various types of sushi dishes
- Knowledge of traditional Japanese sushi-making techniques
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
- Expert sushi craftsmanship with skills in nigiri, maki, poke bowls, and contemporary sushi preparation
- Deep ingredient knowledge and understanding of flavor balance, texture, and pairing
- Commitment to scratch cooking using fresh, local, high-quality ingredients
- Strong culinary leadership with ability to mentor and collaborate
- High standards of excellence in food safety, presentation, consistency, and craft

Job Duties
- Expertly cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish
- Inspecting the quality of fruits, vegetables, and fish used to prepare sushi dishes
- Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety
- Maintaining a clean work environment to prevent food contamination
- Sterilizing all utensils, instruments, and equipment used in sushi preparation before every use
- Communicating with wait staff to ensure that special requests and food allergy considerations are met
- Adhere to traditional Japanese sushi-making methods and techniques
