Job Duties
- Supervise activities of all back of house staff members including receiving, storing, prepping and cooking to ensure consistent, safe, and productive work
- Assist chef in developing new menu concepts
- developing testing, and costing out new menu items
- Oversee methods of preparation, portion sizes, and timeliness of food preparation
- control food and usage to minimize waste
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with the bar and restaurant
- Plan, assign and coordinate work for line cooks
- Participate in preparing food items on the line for service
- Assist in processing invoices, updating daily inventories, and other administrative tasks
- Assist in daily ordering and oversee inventory while working within an assigned budget
- Oversee and assist in kitchen cleanliness and adherence to Department of Health regulations
- Collaborate, elevate and exceed our guest and employee experiences
