Job Duties

  • Supervise activities of all back of house staff members including receiving, storing, prepping and cooking to ensure consistent, safe, and productive work
  • Assist chef in developing new menu concepts
  • developing testing, and costing out new menu items
  • Oversee methods of preparation, portion sizes, and timeliness of food preparation
  • control food and usage to minimize waste
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with the bar and restaurant
  • Plan, assign and coordinate work for line cooks
  • Participate in preparing food items on the line for service
  • Assist in processing invoices, updating daily inventories, and other administrative tasks
  • Assist in daily ordering and oversee inventory while working within an assigned budget
  • Oversee and assist in kitchen cleanliness and adherence to Department of Health regulations
  • Collaborate, elevate and exceed our guest and employee experiences
