Job Description

Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel, a destination property in the heart of the city, is seeking a Sous Chef for PizzaCake. As part of the Caesars Entertainment company, the team is dedicated to providing extraordinary experiences for guests and upholding a culture of Family-Style Service.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of post high school, two-year Culinary Arts School or equivalent technical training in the food and beverage field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Extensive hands-on experience with pizza dough preparation including mixing, proofing, stretching, and baking
  • Strong understanding of fermentation techniques, hydration ratios, and dough consistency
  • Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff in dough handling and pizza preparation
  • Familiarity with wood-fired, gas, or electric pizza ovens and their temperature management
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance
