Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years kitchen management experience
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Must comply with all corporate, state, and federal food safety regulations
- Ability to supervise and manage kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle customer complaints in a professional manner
- Capable of maintaining high sanitation and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years kitchen management experience
- Experience supervising and training kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to manage inventory and control waste
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work early morning full-time schedule
- Experience with menu preparation and portion control
- Proficient in managing food production under deadlines
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance reviews
- Store food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- Keep display equipment clean during meal service to comply with sanitation and safety requirements
- Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- Relay relevant information to supervisor
- Demonstrate understanding of daily menu items and explain them accurately
- Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
- Track product production, consumption, and waste
- Inform supervisor when supplies or products are low
- Perform other duties as assigned
