Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of advanced level food preparation experience in a hotel, university, resort, or comparable hospitality industry setting
  • successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Serv Safe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Chef with production of all catered event food selections and retail action stations
  • work alongside the Chef on menu development and supervision of the kitchen area during shifts
  • utilize food items and batch cook to keep costs in line with revenue projections
  • prepare catering orders
  • train cooks and develop and coach culinary staff throughout the year
  • supervise and delegate prep duties to culinary and student staff in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
