Job Description

Tatte is seeking a Sous Chef to assist in overseeing all kitchen operations at their cafe, responsible for the success and growth of the kitchen team. The Sous Chef may supervise up to 25 employees, including Zone Leaders, Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers. The ideal candidate must engage, inspire, and lead a strong team, with a passion for scratch-made food and authentic hospitality. This role involves leading kitchen execution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in the absence of the head chef.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of culinary/kitchen management experience in a high-volume foodservice operation
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and a passion for culinary excellence
  • understanding of quality product, visual presentation, efficient production, safety & sanitation, and food cost controls
  • proficiency in Tatte's systems, methods, and processes for great execution
  • excellent communication skills
  • highly organized with attention to detail
  • high school education or equivalent.
