Job Requirements
- At least 4 years of related progressive experience
- culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- knowledge of health department rules and regulations
- knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
- ability to work long hours
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently
- maintain warm and friendly demeanor
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- attend all required meetings and trainings
- participate in manager on duty coverage
- maintain regular attendance
- comply with company standards and regulations
- handle problems proactively
- maintain confidentiality
- perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive hotel or related field experience
- or at least 4 years of related progressive experience
- knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques

Job Duties
- Ensure all meals are well prepared with respect to quality, consistency, eye appeal, taste and food cost
- provide training for all kitchen staff
- meet corporate quality standards
- establish and enforce food specifications, portion control, recipes and sanitation
- control food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction
- oversee daily operation of kitchen and food production areas
- respond to guest complaints in a timely manner
