- prior experience in a kitchen management or lead cook position
- strong leadership and team management abilities
- knowledge of food safety standards and preparation methods
- ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- proficiency with basic computer applications
- flexibility to work different shifts
- effective English communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as kitchen manager or lead line cook in a fast-paced environment
- strong leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate a diverse kitchen team
- thorough understanding of food preparation techniques and health department regulations
- well organized and proactive with strong attention to detail
- knowledge of restaurant finances, profitability, scheduling, and labor management
- proficient computer skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Duties
- Leading the hourly kitchen team members in every capacity and developing them into future sous chefs
- oversee daily operations of the kitchen
- supervise line and prep employees
- fill in as needed in every station
- expedite and assist with purchasing product
- ensure all meals meet restaurant standards for quality, consistency, and taste
- provide training for all staff and enforce food specifications, portion control, recipes, and sanitation
- control food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction
