- ability to read, write, convert measurements, and follow recipes

Job Duties
- Participate in the development and implementation of business strategies for the kitchen
- create a positive environment for employees
- deliver exceptional dining experiences by ensuring food quality and consistency
- provide employees with tools and environment for success
- develop and implement strategies supporting employee engagement
- assist in creating daily specials and menus featuring seasonal local ingredients
- coordinate service with restaurant and banquet operations
- manage daily kitchen operations including line checks and pre-shift meetings
- ensure sanitation practices and compliance with HACCP and Time and Temp Logs
- verify proper food storage and temperature
- taste food items before service
- maintain organized and sanitized work areas
- report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
- follow company safety and security policies
- develop strong working relationships and positive work environment
- comply with quality assurance standards
- perform other duties as assigned
