Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events desirable
  • Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
  • Current ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, cost of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions during KM/Chef absence including preparation, service, and clean-up
  • Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume changes
  • Partner with KM/Chef or General Manager to resolve disciplinary issues and foster teamwork
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, presentation standards
  • Supervise and oversee food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Assist Chef in kitchen equipment maintenance and Department of Health sanitation audits
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Report critical issues to General Manager promptly
