Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years related work experience
  • 2-year Culinary Degree or 4-year Hospitality degree with 4 or more years of related work experience
  • Advanced knife skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Lead culinarian in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Assure proper sanitation practices are followed by cleaning and sanitizing workstations and equipment
  • Coordinate with related food and beverage departments for smooth kitchen operation
  • Maintain accurate records of all food ingredients used
  • Support the Executive Chef in menu creation and implementation
  • Supervise and train other cooks on a one-to-one basis
  • Directly supervise day-to-day kitchen functions when Executive Chef is absent
