Job Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience
- Experience with catered events preferred
- Current ServSafe certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical entertainment environment
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
- Experience preparing catered events and presenting food for special occasions
- Relevant education or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current ServSafe certification
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated Food & Beverage menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit & loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions in the absence of the Kitchen Manager/Chef
- Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the specified food program
- Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
- Partner with Kitchen Manager/Chef or General Manager to address and resolve disciplinary issues and foster a team environment
- Ensure that product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise and oversee food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- Assist in managing kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits to comply with local Department of Health regulations
- Ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained at all times
- Report critical issues to the General Manager promptly
