Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Use hands and fingers
- Reach, climb, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Basic culinary education or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in high-volume kitchen environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare food to meet the specification of members/guests in a timely manner
- Assist with menu planning and produce high quality plates including both design and taste
- Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen's performance
- Manage kitchen inventory and ensure supplies are fresh and of high quality
- Report all unsafe working conditions, operational needs and equipment issues to Executive Chef or management
- Ensure kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
- Properly store all food covered, dated and rotated daily to ensure proper portion control and quality
- Maintain workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized and sanitized
- Maintain neat professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules
- Schedule staff shifts
- Train new employees
- Perform hands-on work
- Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required
