Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in a culinary role
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy kitchen items

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work various kitchen stations
  • Knowledge of inventory management and order placement
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a sous chef or similar role
  • Passion for culinary arts and food safety practices

Job Duties

  • Be a leader in the restaurant and a resource for answers
  • Supervise staff to complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
  • Work any station on the line during any service and set an example for others
  • Place daily orders according to order sheet or direction from chef
  • Organize and store deliveries ensuring invoices are correct and products stored at correct temperatures
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Support others to provide the best guest experience
  • Offer suggestions for improvement to management
  • Train new staff as requested
  • Ask for help when needed
