Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a culinary role
- Proven leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry heavy kitchen items
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work various kitchen stations
- Knowledge of inventory management and order placement
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a sous chef or similar role
- Passion for culinary arts and food safety practices
Job Duties
- Be a leader in the restaurant and a resource for answers
- Supervise staff to complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
- Work any station on the line during any service and set an example for others
- Place daily orders according to order sheet or direction from chef
- Organize and store deliveries ensuring invoices are correct and products stored at correct temperatures
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Support others to provide the best guest experience
- Offer suggestions for improvement to management
- Train new staff as requested
- Ask for help when needed
