Job Requirements

  • Strong background in wine education and service
  • Certifications such as CMS or WSET preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in upscale or fine dining environments
  • Proven ability to manage operations, lead teams, and deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine passion for hospitality, wine, and creating memorable experiences
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Provide Sommelier floor presence during service, including hand-selling and advance wine service
  • Provide Sommelier service for club programming, private events, wine dinners, and seated tastings
  • Assist with beverage inventory counts, membership tours, and prospective membership visits
  • Educate the service team to ensure consistent and knowledgeable wine service
  • Stay informed on wine trends, regions, vintages, and producers to enhance offerings
  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service and member satisfaction during both AM and PM meal service periods
  • Troubleshoot service issues, front-of-house systems, and other operational problems with the Service Director and General Manager
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine and back-of-house teams to ensure cohesive service delivery
  • Handle member relations, feedback, and service recovery with professionalism and care
  • Support strategic initiatives to elevate service, increase member engagement, and streamline operations
