The role of CDL Shuttle Driver at PMC involves safely and efficiently operating commercial shuttle vehicles to transport passengers or goods in compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, meaning drivers are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek. Compensation is an hourly base rate, which may vary by market. CDL Drivers are essential to ensuring timely and reliable transportation services, maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires adherence to established schedules, professional handling of cargo and passenger needs, and active contribution to the overall success of PMC's transportation operations.

As a CDL Shuttle Driver, the individual operates passenger vans, minivans, stretch limousines, light trucks, or small buses with the capacity to transport between 16 and 23 passengers including the driver. Candidates must possess a valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a passenger (P) endorsement, maintain a clean driving record with no major violations, and meet ongoing Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification and drug screening requirements. The driver will perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain a clean and safe vehicle, and report any vehicle or safety issues promptly. Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach are essential. The driver assists passengers with boarding, luggage, and mobility needs, ensuring a welcoming and positive travel experience that reflects PMC's hospitality standards.

The CDL Shuttle Driver operates in a fast-paced environment handling varied traffic conditions, requiring adaptability, strong situational awareness, and the ability to manage competing demands professionally and efficiently. Drivers are also expected to follow company policies, participate in required meetings and training sessions, and maintain schedule flexibility. This role involves physical demands such as sitting for extended periods while driving, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in various weather conditions while maintaining professionalism at all times. Additionally, drivers may use their personal cell phones for work-related communication, with reimbursement provided per company policy.

PMC offers an attractive benefits package including medical, vision, and dental insurance upon eligibility, a 401(k) plan, supplemental life and critical illness insurance, paid time off, paid training, tuition assistance up to $5,250 per year through Bellevue University, bonus opportunities, employee discounts through Perks at Work, and opportunities for nationwide growth. PMC is a military-friendly employer committed to pay transparency, wage equity, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
