The Shift Supervisor role at Wonder is essential to maintaining the high standards for which the company is known. Located in Milford, this position offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities, with a competitive pay rate starting at $21.00 per hour. Additionally, overnight shifts worked between midnight and 5:00 AM include a $2.00 hourly premium. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing kitchen and restaurant operations during your shift to ensure customers receive exceptional service and food quality. This leadership position requires hands-on involvement in managing daily activities, coordinating with the chef leadership team, and supporting staff through all phases of service, including opening, food preparation, and closing duties.
Key responsibilities include managing kitchen orders, processing deliveries, ensuring adequate stock levels, and maintaining safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with established cleaning schedules. The Shift Supervisor is entrusted with monitoring operational costs and adhering to budget guidelines while ensuring that all kitchen equipment is maintained, safely used, and functionally optimal. Acting as a professional role model, the successful candidate demonstrates ethical leadership and actively participates in training, coaching, and the professional development of team members. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate and lead teams in a fast-paced environment, and a strong focus on detail and efficiency.

Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for a full shift while working
- Must have open availability including night and weekend availability
- Food manager certificate as required by state, county or local health departments
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience supervising or leading team members in a quick service restaurant or full-service restaurant
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy
- Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures
- Must be able to exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player
Job Duties
- Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service including the opening, prep, and closing duties
- Work together with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure guests receive the highest quality of service
- Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries in line with company protocol
- Maintain communication with the restaurant staff to ensure the team has enough stock and assist them with supplies and ordering
- Ensure the appropriate safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices are followed across all back-of-house areas and comply with cleaning schedules
- Monitor kitchen operational costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely, securely, and is in full working order
