The role we are looking to fill is that of a Server, a critical position responsible for providing attentive and energetic service throughout guests' dining experiences. Servers at our restaurant are expected to embody hospitality with a smile while maintaining a positive attitude focused on guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, willing not only to manage their own tables but also to support fellow team members by assisting in seating guests, running food, bussing tables, and helping other departments when necessary. The Server position requires a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage offerings, including specials and promotions, to effectively inform and guide guests in their selections.
In this role, the Server must deliver timely and precise service by taking accurate food and beverage orders, inputting them correctly into the POS system, and ensuring the presentation of food meets the restaurant’s high standards before serving. The Server will anticipate guests’ needs and preferences, accommodating special requests and pacing the service to match each guest’s time constraints and style. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area, assisting in side work and closing duties, and supporting management by reporting any maintenance, safety, or guest concerns promptly. The Server plays an important role in resolving guest complaints using structured recovery models to ensure guest satisfaction is restored efficiently.
This is a physically and mentally engaging position that demands the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation, carry certification as a Food Handler and TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) where applicable, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job Requirements

- Proven experience as a server in a full-service dining establishment
- Certified food handler in the respective state
- TABC certification where applicable

- Know restaurant’s food and beverage selections how to sell these items and the ability to answer guests’ questions regarding items
- Greet guests present menus and explain specials and promotions
- Accommodate guests’ time restrictions by reading the guest and adapting service style to their pace and interaction requirements
- Anticipate the guests’ needs and wants and accommodates special requests
- Take accurate food and beverage orders inputting correctly into the POS system and delivering camera-ready quality food every shift every guest
- Act as a final quality check on food and beverages before they are served
- Assist management by informing them of maintenance problems safety concerns low supply inventory levels and guest issues
- Helps resolve guest complaints by using the BLAST guest recovery model
- Assist in the cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant
- Complete and set-ups side work and or closing duties assigned
- Ensure safe food handling and general restaurant safety for guests and team members
