Job Description

Parker Hospitality is a prominent hospitality company known for its high-volume dining venues that emphasize exceptional guest experiences and superior customer service. With a focus on creating memorable moments for every guest, Parker Hospitality prides itself on fostering a positive work environment driven by core values such as ownership, positivity, continuous learning, respect, and hospitality excellence. The company operates various restaurants that blend culinary expertise with outstanding service, ensuring every visit leaves guests satisfied and eager to return.

As a server at Parker Hospitality, you play a crucial role in upholding the company’s commitment to hospitality excellence. This position is centered around delivering excellent customer service with a personalized touch, enhancing the overall dining experience for patrons. Servers are expected to have thorough knowledge of the complete food menu, as well as wine and cocktail offerings, enabling them to confidently answer questions and provide informed recommendations. Given that Parker Hospitality venues are high-volume environments, the role requires individuals who are energetic, adaptable, and attentive to guest needs under busy conditions.

This is a service charge pay model position where compensation primarily comes from a commission-based share of service charges on guest checks, with additional potential earnings through customer tips. The company supports its servers with clear processes and standards designed to maintain exceptional quality service consistently. Employees are also encouraged to embrace the company’s core values, which include taking ownership of tasks, maintaining a positive attitude, continuous learning and teaching, respecting team members, and prioritizing hospitality excellence.

Servers at Parker Hospitality must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and during peak service times, reflecting the dynamic nature of the restaurant business. Physical demands include standing or walking for most of the shift, managing multiple tables or bars, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing various physical tasks such as reaching and bending. Attention to detail is essential to ensure orders are accurately entered and promptly processed, while maintaining cleanliness and organization at tables.

In addition to excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ideal candidates demonstrate an outgoing personality, a team-oriented mindset, and a dedication to following company standards and policies. The company fosters a respectful workplace culture free from violence, harassment, or discrimination, and expects all employees to comply with health and safety regulations, including drug and alcohol policies.

Joining Parker Hospitality as a server offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to be part of a respected company that values its team members and promotes career growth within the industry. With a supportive culture, competitive earning potential, and a strong emphasis on professional development, this role is suited for those eager to excel in the food and beverage service sector.
