The role of a server in our restaurant is essential to delivering an outstanding guest experience. Servers are the face of our restaurant, responsible for welcoming and greeting guests with warmth and professionalism. They must inform guests about specials and featured items, answer questions regarding our food and beverages, and take accurate orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Efficiency and attentiveness are crucial as servers promptly deliver food and beverages, run food orders from the pick-up window, and perform side work such as maintaining clean service areas and resetting tables. Monitoring the guest's dining experience to ensure satisfaction is part of the role, along with responding swiftly to any requests. Servers must handle payment transactions and prepare bills accurately. Our team members support one another and work flexibly to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant as directed by the management or immediate supervisors. This role requires standing for long periods and managing plate and supply weights safely. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, customer-focused, professional in appearance and attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements

  • 6 months experience preferred
  • must deliver exceptional service
  • possess verbal and language skills to understand and communicate with guests
  • basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
  • possess basic math skills, operate a point-of-sale system, and have the ability to handle money
  • be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • be able to safely lift and easily maneuver plates of food and supplies weighing up to 10 pounds

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • inform guests of specials and feature items
  • answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions
  • take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
  • deliver food and beverages promptly
  • run food orders from the pick-up window regardless of server
  • perform side work at the start and end of shifts
  • maintain clean service areas
  • monitor guest dining experience and ensure satisfaction
  • respond promptly to guest requests
  • prepare bills and present checks
  • clean and reset tables, chairs, booths, and surrounding carpet
  • assist fellow servers as needed
