Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capacity to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds occasionally
- manual dexterity for handling plates and utensils
- compliance with company appearance and uniform standards
- patience and good sense of humor
- enthusiasm and calmness under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a customer service or server role is advantageous
- knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- basic math skills
- proficiency with point-of-sale systems
- strong verbal and communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- inform guests of specials and feature items
- answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services
- take food and beverage orders using point-of-sale system
- deliver food and beverages promptly
- run food orders from pick-up window
- perform side work at start and end of shifts
- maintain clean service areas
- monitor guest dining experience and respond promptly
- prepare and present bills
- clean and reset tables
- assist fellow servers
- thank guests and invite them to return
- fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation
- adhere to verbal and language communication standards
- operate point-of-sale system and handle money
- perform other duties as assigned
