Job Description

Enterprise is a distinguished national nonprofit organization dedicated to making a good home possible for millions of families across the United States who lack stable housing. Since its inception in 1982, Enterprise has worked tirelessly to support community development organizations, aggregate and invest capital for impactful housing initiatives, influence housing policies at local, state, and federal levels, and manage the creation of communities that foster pride, power, and belonging. With a remarkable record of investing $92 billion and creating 1.1 million homes nationwide – including all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands – Enterprise stands as a leader in affordable housing and community development. The company is committed to achieving systemic change and advancing racial equity, fostering an environment where its diverse and dedicated team members thrive and contribute meaningful work every day.

Working at Enterprise means joining a passionate team where your skills and heart meet purpose. The organization celebrates collaboration between some of the brightest minds and kindest spirits in the housing sector, encouraging bold steps to further social justice. Employees benefit from a supportive culture that values growth, learning, and career development. The role demands proficiency with webinar technology platforms such as Cvent and Zoom, overseeing everything from registration to troubleshooting and reporting. The Senior Events Operations Associate also plays an influential role in vendor sourcing, negotiation, financial monitoring, and contract management to maintain fiscal discipline and optimize event performance.

Success in this position is defined by exceptional organizational skills, innovative problem-solving, and a customer-service mindset that prioritizes attendee satisfaction and team collaboration. The Associate will also provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to continuous process improvements. This full-time role is based across several locations, including Columbia, MD; New York, NY; and Washington, DC. The salary range for this position is $68,000 to $78,000, reflecting not only competitive compensation but a total rewards package that includes bonuses, paid leave, health and dental insurance, mental health resources, wellness programs, and retirement plan with employer matching. Enterprise also supports flexible work arrangements to balance professional and personal commitments.
