This role is responsible for receiving and serving orders promptly and efficiently, creating a wide range of beverages including classic cocktails, mixers, beer, wine, and soft drinks, as well as assisting with some food orders and supporting the floor team as necessary. The individual in this position must be knowledgeable about the menu, including any changes or promotions, to offer the best possible service to guests. Maintaining a clean and well-organized service area is also an essential part of this job, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere.

A key component of the Bartender’s role is excellent communication, both to understand and respond to guest requests and to interact effectively with team members. They must be committed to delivering high levels of customer service with a positive attitude, excellent grooming standards, flexibility to adapt to different situations, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The role requires a minimum age of 21 and at least one year of bartending experience, reflecting the level of professionalism and expertise Hilton expects from its staff. Work schedule flexibility includes availability for five shifts per week, including weekends, which aligns with the hospitality industry’s demands.

Job Duties

  • Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner
  • create and serve a range of beverages including classic cocktails, mixers, beer, wine and soft drinks
  • take food orders and assist the floor team with deliveries as required
  • understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities
  • keep your service area clean, tidy, and well-prepared
  • efficiently manage the proper settlement of all customer accounts
  • answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner
